Mandalorian
I have finished my skin and i am having trouble with it,the model is fixed and rescaled, skin completed, but I need to have three tags put in from the bobafett class.I seem to struggle here despite every tutorial read.I would love to release this soon if possible.I need to know to add a tag with blender, or upload it to some one who can add *Ljet *Rjet and a *flamethrower tag to the model, in the same way the default model does. mrwonko
Using File->Append you can add objects from a different .blend file. Use that to copy Boba's tags. Then you just need to put them in the correct place in the hierarchy for each LOD. Link to comment
Mandalorian
Thanks for that mrwonko.I seem to not be able to import the default fett into blender. Link to comment
Omicron
But if you use the default tag names, then surly the game will remove the jetpack if you make it replace the base boba fett, as there is some code in there which removes the jetpack for mp sadly Link to comment
Mandalorian
I couldn't use the tags if I didn't replace the model? I'd just have a different npc. Link to comment
Omicron
If you model is called 'boba_fett' then from my understanding, if you have the tags rjet, cjet and ljet, then the game's code will remove those parts for mp. If you use the base boba fett, you'll find that in mp he has no jetpack, but in sp he does, and when viewing him in modview, you can see he has a jetpack. Link to comment
mrwonko
Thanks for that mrwonko.I seem to not be able to import the default fett into blender. Not? I could import him just fine, what's the problem? Link to comment
Mandalorian
Human error, put the model on the desktop instead of in my base/models/players.I'm reading tutorials as I go, would seem to be easier to make new tags and call them the same name am I correct? Link to comment
