Botdra Posted June 11, 2013 Posted June 11, 2013 For my bounty hunter scanner HUD mod I'm trying different transparencies etc. to get the desired results, but I was wondering if you c an stack Alpha Channels?Basically, I have lots of lines and then the rest of the open area of my graphic has green tinted scan lines all over it. Every time I want to try a new transparency for the scan line areas it means I have to undo all the previous paint bucketing for those areas in order to not continuously erode away those lines making them thinner each time. I suppose I could save one prior to coloring those areas and try again but it's a massive pain. I tried having the Alpha Channel of the lines on one layer, then a second one under it with the desired transparency of the scan line areas but it just came up solid in-game.
Solution Szico VII Posted June 12, 2013 Solution Posted June 12, 2013 You could try using a PNG with layers then you dont need an alpha channel separately. Anything shown as transparent in photoshop will be transparent ingame.
