Hi all, I'm trying to get Jedi Knight 2 running on a Windows 10 PC. It is an HP laptop with Intel graphics.

I installed it from the disc and tried to launch and it just crashed. So I started looking around and tried launching in windows XP compatability mode. That didn't work either.

Then I found this:

I tried loading that dll, but when launching jk2sp.exe with that dll in the folder, it just crashed and said "glw_startopengl() - could not load opengl subsystem"

I then found this:

https://jkhub.org/files/file/3856-openjk-for-jedi-academy/

And i followed these steps

"Installing and running OpenJK on Windows

Download OpenJK for Windows above.

Extract or copy/paste the contents of the zip file into the Jedi Academy GameData/ folder. For Steam users, by default this will be in C:/Program Files/Steam/steamapps/common/Jedi Academy/GameData.

Download and install Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 found here. You'll need the x86 version, unless it still gives an error, then try the x64 version as well.

Run openjk.x86.exe."

After this, the game kinda starts. Audio is choppy and its in a tiny window that i can't expand. I attached a screen shot of what it looks like with the windows explorer in the background so you could get a reference.

I am stuck here. Not sure what else to try to get this working, Any help would be appreciated.

OpenJK is for Jedi Academy, you want OpenJO for Jedi Outcast. You can find it at the same GitHub link you got OpenJK from, though the Windows build might need to be found by clicking "Show all 14 assets"
