Not to mention that they switched directors half-way through production again -- and guess what they produced the last time they did this... >.<' (Hint: both an artistic and box office failure.)

And, yeah, the ending will suck, because it's JJ. (Tell me just one story that JJ has satisfyingly wrapped up.)

(Failure because Disney acquired an enormously rich fictional world, with an expansive background and history to build upon, and didn't know what to do with it.)

(Or the film I've promisingly named "Failure Complete".)

And "Black Diamond" is the working title (or code name) of the upcoming, third film in Disney's sequel trilogy of films.

Star Wars is the fictional world George Lucas and co. have built, based on the foundations of the monomyth and a unique mix of world cultures, with its own set of moral laws and history. Before Disney came along, despite having been expanded by countless individuals and teams working on it, for the most part, this world made a coherent sense, and followed the conventions Lucas has set with the original trilogy of films and their treatment.

... Yet he gets the spotlight.

Finn is an amusing character, but they've done literally nothing with him (so far). Kylo had potential, but they screwed it up. And I really don't see what makes Poe such an interesting character (other than Disney's hype/marketing). I don't even know his background. He's just some "ace pilot", like Luke's friend was in the first film -- a minor side character! -- but unlike that guy, this guy has absolutely no relation to the main character(s) in the story...

They can tie this with Leia's sudden, "shocking" death (victimhood) to give Lando a forced motivation to act.

What they might do -- and this is using a Hollywood trope that goes way-back -- is to have Lando be the hero and die saving the resistance and putting an end to the first order by sacrificing himself. Knowing Hollywood execs, this is a likely death scenario for Lando in this film.

Also, don't forget that Leia dies in this one, so Lando will probably survive -- unless near-everyone is killed.

My guesses for Episode 9 are: 1) they are going to feature Lando in this film to promote some fake POC SJW agenda (even the working title hints at this, Black Diamond) 2) Luke will return (as a Force ghost) to give hope to the resistance and help save the day 3) the movie will not make much sense thematically 4) the big "revelation" at the end is going to suck.

As for Disney's trilogy, they might as well have kept the Lego movie directors -- at least they would have made a movie filled with good jokes to remember. As it is, what they made is a bad parody of Star Wars.

Ragtag One was (mildly) entertaining, but it's not Star Wars. Soylo is definitely not Star Wars. And I'm speaking for the overall quality of the content, not my own feelings for it.

There's not a single character that Disney has created that has worth to stand in line with the OT characters. The same goes for their stories.

Even if you happened to enjoy any of this content (i.e. they were good jokes), they're still a joke. Unlike the OT films, there's no lasting quality in any of these movies or content.

The Farce Awakens, The Last Joke, Failure Complete, Ragtag One - A Star Wars Stooge, Soylo -- they're all jokes.

Would be funny if they did. At this point, I can't take anything Disney does seriously. It's all a big fat joke.
