Star Wars Episode VII Discussion
Lamented replied to Circa's topic in Star Wars Franchise Discussions
Wow, I did find that quite interesting, thank you! But the title still feels cringeworthy. :| -
Damn picture wouldn't upload earlier. Here's the cute one I mentioned.

Hey, guys. Just been thinking bout Ahsoka a lot lately, especially because I'm writing a fanfiction about her and anyways, I've always been curious about what it would feel like to play a realistic version of her ingame. I tried the port that was posted here and while I'm glad to have it, it doesn't really move well with all the animations and it seems kind of odd sometimes. A new model overall would be better. This'd be really great--oh and, I'm referring to the more mature Ahsoka from Seasons 3-5. Anyways, here's a pic that could give an idea of what she should look like realistically. Not only it is realistic, but I find it really cute. Would look great in JKA. I'm quite surprised a new model hasn't been made by now. Come on, go for it!

Star Wars Episode VII Discussion
Lamented replied to Circa's topic in Star Wars Franchise Discussions
@@Circa, what can I say? I'm a lifer. And I mean a critical lifer. It means I'm so invested in such a small, little part of the world that I take it way too seriously and end up being pathetic. Makes me look lame, sure. But hey, it's all worth it when it comes to examining Star Wars. Well, for me, anyway. -
Star Wars Episode VII Discussion

Perhaps, @@Circa. But how do you awaken the Force... Luke has a new Jedi Order already. Can't be much more lively than that. Like I said, a title with "The dark side" in it might've been better. -
Star Wars Episode VII Discussion
Lamented replied to Circa's topic in Star Wars Franchise Discussions
The title is awful imo. Maybe it'll work for some people later but... Why not something like... Return of the SithVeil of the Dark SideThe New Rebellion (as in a rebellion has been formed against the New Republic)Guardians of the Galaxy (too late)The Imperial RemnantsRise of the InquisitionLegacy of the JediThe Dark PresageThe First TrialThe Dark HarbingerBalance of the ForceA New ConflictThe Light SaviorsErosion of Lightetc. Not a fan of the title. Now I'm not going to blame anyone who uses the metaphor, "You can't just judge a book by it's cover." However, when it comes to Star Wars movies, the titles play a huge part in conveying what's happening/what's going to happen. As far as I know, the New Republic reigns with peace across the galaxy. The light of the Force would have REAWAKENED by Return of the Jedi. And a Star Wars movie shouldn't exist without a conflict--so clearly, some dark bulldozers are gonna come in and start being blunt activists (a light way to put it.) If anything, it might have been better to use "Shroud of the Dark Side" or any of the titles I put up. -
Someone should at best Frankenstein together an Agent Kallus. Not impossible and he'd be cool to introduce.

https://www.facebook.com/battlefronteternal Alleged Star Wars: Battlefront activists are taking the battle to EA and revealing some horrible facts about what actions they are taking. I recommend supporting them. Fight the power!

@@hleV, where do you get off? I'm sorry but, what is wrong with TCW as a whole? What is wrong with its storytelling ability? Its aspects? Its characters? Its dynamics? I think they were all used to amazing effect in different genres integrated into the Star Wars world, at least by TCW Season 3. We see: The dangers of the life of a SithHow a war can change all facets of lifeThe means individuals are willing to utilize to forge an endThe cost of honor and securityObi-Wan and Anakin's resemblance of Luke later on in the OTHow revenge destroys lives in more ways than oneThe tragedies and slights against Anakin that drag him closer to he the darkness within himselfThe dawning realization that the darker fate awaiting everyone is unavoidableEtc.Just, after a while, seeing another one of your lovely comments seems almost ungrateful. TCW did what the prequels couldn't, in fact improved them to a degree. (At least RotS.) If you're going to argue it was kiddy just because you didn't like the animation and there a few stepping stones in the first two seasons, then I'm afraid you've completely missed the point here. There are so many variants of introspection within TCW, so many different genre integrations, so many things that have never been done in Star Wars before. We've been able to experience different shades of gray with both the good and the bad. If you can't find it within yourself to appreciate what has been done here, and you're going to cry over dumb things, then you just shouldn't judge at all.
-
@, I'm sorry, but... do you really feel that way? ._. Compare TCW Seasons 3-6 to Rebels. And if you saw the latest Rebels episode with Ezra and Zeb teaming up you may find your view to be different.
-
Sorry, but... ew. Also, I said a REALISTIC version. But thanks for the suggestion.

I really think someone should model or Frankenstein a realistic Darth Tyranus from Season 6 of the Clone Wars. In the following images, you'll note he's wearing something that is kind of like a cool, extravagant vest or something. (Looks good on him, agreed!?) He also wears silver armor pads with certain feather-like designs on them. The buttons from his shoulderpads line up vertically down his shirt. And he has a harness affixed to left side of his trousers to hang his lightsaber on.
-
Hera's hot, make her. A REALISTIC VERSION, though.

Hey. I delved into the Sith Customization pack using ModView and I created a lookalike of the Dark Apprentice from TFU2. (The head actually looks abit like Starkiller imo, but that's for you to judge.) Anyway, I want to export this customization and use it as a separate model so I can replace something in MBII with it. Does anyone know how to do that? If it's difficult to do, could someone perhaps lend a hand? Also, here it is. You might discover why I want it separate so badly.

@@Archangel35757, forgive me blunt impatience. Things haven't been looking up for me at all lately.
-
Yeah. No more Maul reskins, give us the real thing! ._. And if some modeler could, it might also be cool if they threw in a few variants from the cancelled Maul game.
-
@, lookie lookie, Senator. Assist me in bringing this to fruition. Speaking of bringing this to fruition, @@Archangel35757, you think you're still up to working on this? Haven't really heard much from you lately... And I'm getting rather depressed. :/

I f***ing love Agent Kallus. So much so that I decided to idolize him in TOR! He's going to be an Operative.
-
@@Kualan, I really liked this latest addition to your series. However, I can't help but advise a revision. There seems to be a grammar error on Page 10. Also, pulling in the KotOR Sith Lords for a vision was pretty cool. However, to make it even cooler, I could provide you with better-looking and more detailed reskins of Revan, Malak, and Nihilus, should you so desire. I think it'd make it nicer. Anyways, pretty cool.

That is correct, @@Circa.
-
@@Circa, can you give me a tutorial word-for-word on how the process goes?
-
@@Circa What if I uploaded a version of it with a music rescore?

Hey. So I want to record the Mace Windu vs. Darth Sidious battle in HD and upload it to YouTube. The ROTS disc is playable on my computer. However, I don't know which program to use to upload nor how I would do it. Can someone point me in the right direction? Also, I might need help with cutting. Maybe not.
