VM_Create on UI failed

Hi guys,

 

First of all : thank you for this great mod, it looks gorgeous.

 

I installed it and Single Player launches fine, however the Multiplayer crashes after a few seconds (I only see the title screen). I have this message :

 

 

 

 

I'm on Windows7, and the original game works perfectly fine (both Singleplayer and Multiplayer). I reinstalled the game, it didn't solve the problem.

 

I've read online that this problem occured on the original game and it was a problem of access rights on Windows, so I did everything that was suggested (run as administrator, turn off user account control...) but it's still doing the same.

 

Do you have any idea how to solve it?

I get the same issue, though it doesn't occur if I'm running a mod. Are you on CD or Steam?

Best thing I can suggest is to run it with OpenJK, we have our own OpenJK version, but for the alpha, the default will work fine.

Wow. Thank you so much, it worked!

 

I installed OpenJK, ran their multiplayer launcher, and then loaded the mod (in set up > "load mod").

 

And I just had a nerdgasm seeing the hundreds of characters and maps from the movies. Thank you so much Linken! You are the best

I'm glad to see that the problem is solved but did you patch your jedi academy game to 1.01?

I did have a problem but it isn't the same though. There it is, by the way : I have a problem with the patch 1.01. It's saying : Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy isn't findable. Please reinstall the game from the original CD and try again. Or maybe I guess, I'm already at this version, I don't know.
