Legacy_of_the_Force Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 Hello everyone! I would need some advices in order to build a mod which would improve my game experience! First of all, I use OpenJK with the last 2016 build for Windows. I mostly play single player. What I would like to do is getting skins/models from the prequels, meaning clone troopers, droids and different jedi species, in order to create NPC battles from Geonosis battle to order 66. I found great features in JKhub for the character/NPC models and DC-15A, DC-15S blasters. Here is a question: how does compatibility between mods work? I mean, how can we know if the mods can merge their features (for example, character models are simply added in the character customization menu) or replace previous feature (just as the DC-15A and DC-15S replace E-11 and repeater). Is there a way to adapt for example Movie Battle II mod in single player? I can easily copy the map files into my JKA base folder and I can load the map in single player mod. But I don't understand how to merge NPC and models from this mod. Other features I would like to import:-weapons used by Super Battle Droid-droïdekas-a sniper rifle (is there any DC-15X sniper rifle model/skin?)-the ability to use the jetpack-the dismemberment ability (I followed this tutorial but I still can't slice bucket heads : https://jkhub.org/tutorials/article/175-model-dismemberment-realistic-lightsaber-combat/)-lightsaber holster like in JKA Enhancement mod-Melee attacks And other ideas but for a first post I think I already asked a lot. LucyTheAlien Posted January 22, 2017 Posted January 22, 2017 I like the idea of adding Battle droids, maybe old rusted ones in use by the remnant to Jedi Academy. Jedi Academy was always too easy and in need of more enemies anyway.
Legacy_of_the_Force Posted January 23, 2017 Author Posted January 23, 2017 Anybody? At least on how extract features from Movies Battle 2 to use them in the singleplayer campaign ?
