FeliuPJ Posted October 28, 2016 Posted October 28, 2016 I've just installed JK Jedi Academy (cd-rom) and installed the patch 1.01 with my new windows 10 pc and it doesn't work. I can install the game, but when I run this game it doesn't start.Anyone can help? Thanks!
JaceSolarisVIII Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Try: Right click on the .exe/properties/compatibility then tick run as administrator box then apply then run compatibility trouble shooter. follow instructions and save at the end. do this for the mp and sp .exe applications.
ensiform Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Make sure u download OpenALUhm the game includes it's own OpenAL, did you mean OpenGL?
Smoo Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Uhm the game includes it's own OpenAL, did you mean OpenGL?on steam it does, i don't think it did from cd copy
ensiform Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 On the original copy it does too. They use a proprietary version of creative labs OpenAL with EAX support for the jk2-3. Smoo likes this
Smoo Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I think it was something else then, something that adds 32bit support
ensiform Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 .... What? 'Adds 32 bit support' doesn't even compute because windows 16 bit is pre Windows 95.
