As a few of you already know, I've been using my wizard uber-coding hax to do some interesting stuff over the last few months; creating a game engine (almost) from scratch, to be more precise! If anyone wants to watch what I'm up to, have a look at: http://www.moddb.com/engines/redsky-engine

 

You can expect that to be updated fairly frequently from now on, and hopefully some kind of game announcement (other than 'Achtung Minen!', which was a concept I dropped ages ago in favour of something much more interesting, though I may go back to it afterwards) in a little while. Beta gameplay by the end of the year, perhaps? We'll see.

Well now I'm working on text input and general user interface stuff. Absolutely necessary but terribly boring, so don't expect any interesting media for a bit.

Is there any work being done on collisions/physics so far? I've just seen graphical stuff so far

Ye- well, sort of. Simulating dynamics is confusing the crap out of me at the moment, I've been working on the interface components to take a bit of a break. The physics are currently about on a par with Pong...
