Im here to give a shout out to the clan Ive been a part of since 2005 on Hatrus Lugormod.

We have mostly been on Lugormod throughout our time in existence.  but we have set up our own MB2 server and have been playing there, unfortunately I dont have the IP since we're in the process of shuffling things around.  the Forums are also about to be changed within the week, we're in the middle of some serious reforms to accommodate the fact that alot of us have been in Mandos for close to 10 years and we are a lot older than we were when we first joined.  

 

Some of you may know us, and some of you may not.  those who do know us, may have some.... lets say.... strong opinions.  We arent exactly known to play well with others since we often didnt have a server of our own and played on other clan's Lugor servers.  Anyways... thats about it.  We have a long LONG history thats been written out for any of you intereste, it can be found on the forums.  anyways thats about it.  i'll probably come around here often, since its only taken me 10 years to find a community hub like this one.

no no no.  we're a Merc clan in Lugormod, and now a MB2 clan.  no RPing of any sort.  the history that i have written down is the clans actual ventures in JKA, which servers weve been on, conflicts weve had, internal and external... stuff like that

no its not.  those are the actual ventures that my clan have had on servers.  the history there isnt of the mandalorians that we know from the starwars world, we dont RP, the history there is of the clan called The Mandalorians on JKA.

So you guys were founded on the planet Hatrus, which had its own police, army and marines? How is this not fiction? Couching your "history" in fictional terms greatly takes away from its value because it throws another interpretative layer upon what is already a work of interpretation (namely history). So my first thought when I saw this was: Those guys must be a RP clan of sorts because they love to roleplay being on planets and stuff, or at least understand themselves through the lens of some fictional story.

ah, i see where youre coming from.  

 

all i can say to explain that is that the first part of the history was written in that form WAY back in 2006, and yes in a way i guess it is in a fictional form, but when i compiled it all a couple years ago i was too lazy to rewrite it so, i just copied and pasted it from an older forum that was still kicking around.  the later ones written last year or so arent in that fashion

Yeah, I see. You should consider rewriting them at some point though. It's good stuff and clearly a lot of work has been put into this, but I feel it would be a bit of a shame to leave them like that.
