SardineGuy Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hey all. I've been trying to find a working MD3 plugin for the current release of Blender. I've been able to export from older versions of blender that work in game and in radiant but MD3View always throws up a wrong header size error and will not load the models. I can also export my models as other formats and convert them to MD3 using other software so I'm not completely handicapped by this. However, I would like to have everything in one place/program to streamline the process and reduce the amount of programs and files I have to deal with. I've picked up mrwonko's nightly build from his Blender Jedi Academy Tools on github. From what I can tell he's been updating them to work on the current Blender build, however, the MD3 exporter does not show up in the export menu so I cannot give it a try. I thought I'd try posting here and see if you all know of a solution. Thanks!
SomaZ Posted January 11 Posted January 11 Hey SardineGuy. You can use my blender addon to import and export md3 files. Its handling is a little different as the old versions so I just link the little tutorial I wrote about it here. It also comes with instructions on how to setup the addon. Hope this helps. https://jkhub.org/tutorials/modeling/md3-importexport-using-blender-33-r185/
