Movie duels 2 Remaster crashes

If anyone could help me than I would appreciate it the issue is I installed the movie duels 2 mod from MODDB however I've noticed that the mod is unstable as in it crashes my game every time I play the mod and yes I've read the instructions on how to properly 

install the mod however the game still crashes no other mods are present just the movie duels 2 June update mod this is very annoying and I hope that there is a way for me to fix it however I haven't found anything at all I've asked around and know one seems to have an idea on what the problem is 

I'm starting to think that ill just have to wait for the dev team of the mod to patch this bug/issue.

The fix will be out by the next update, since it's caused by the high-resolution menus, though the fix can be downloaded here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/pu5n9rctkyjflh1/r_lqmenuscreens.pk3/file

To install, simply drag the PK3 into your JKA Installation's Gamedata/MD directory.
