About This File

Makes the R2D2 and R5D2 droids spawn with random colors, always white bodies however. If this gets popular I will change that so the body is random as well. This does not effect the imperial versions. Use for whatever you want! Don't need permission to use but tell me if you use it so I can see and link your work. :) Anyways just a pk3 file so it doesn't overwrite anything, just delete it to get the original droids back. Also let me know what else hasnt received a RGB color treatment. I noticed a few mods like this for other models but not for droids. Still reading this? Why? Just download or leave you're wasting time. Well if you want use the console to change your playermodel to r2d2 for astromech adventures, minus the ability to do anything but roll.

 

Now get version 2! I'm leaving this one up incase someone prefers the simpler textures. Maybe so they can make there own droid?

This is a very awesome idea, great job! You should ask Circa if you can put this into JK enhanced.

I thought of making something like that. Protocol droids are in need of such mod even more.

i changed the human mercenaries into the mandolorians and i made them spawn in diffrent colours too!

Anyone know of a way to make it so they randomly spawn certain colors? I want to make some darker ones but have them still be random, these droids mostly look like they came out of ponyland.

Totally Agree. Although the protocol droid would probably need a second or third model as well really.

As for droid models I'm not sure you could implement more, I do not know much about how the ai spawns. However I will be releasing a new update for this soon. I figured out how to make them not so coloring book textured. I will also be uploading a protocol droid version soon.

I might once I finish v2 and the protocol droids. It will be a decent update to this. Now to figure out how to add shine. Ideas?

I sure do wish I remembered how I made this. At the moment I'm trying to remember how to install these mods.
