Im having a lot of trouble identifying the possible geometry that is causing the map to not compile correctly.
Could i send you the map file and have you take a quick look?
-
So basically caulk the cap pieces of closed off cylinders?
-
Ok, but what is the "cap" on 12 sided brushes or larger?
Plus, there is another error during compile named: MAX_MAP_VISIBILLITY EXCEEDED

--- FilterStructuralBrushesIntoTree ---I am 98% of my map finished, but when i compile it to test it, the following errors appears above.
-
Hm, do you have something changing the cfg file?
-
Oh, thats all? thanks mate.
Thought it would be more complex.
-
Thanks, just wanted to know that.
Now how do i do the effect show in the video?
Though i dont want for you to make an entire contraption of entities just for me to use it.
-
Somehow, the shortcut to the desktop made radiant lag, but using it from the folder i installed works fine.
-
So i am done with my map, but the void shows and i only can see the wall when i get close to it, so i looked for something like this and it said to edit worldspawn, how can i do this?
For the second question i really suck with entities and i dont know how to do it, so i want someone to teach me how to do something like this: ( With The characther getting sucked in after window breaks)
-
So i open gtkradiant, wanting to complete my map, when i spawn a brush and suddenly, gtkradiant freezes for 5 seconds.
Then i select the brush and, 5 second freeze again.
Move the brush? Freeze.
Change brushes shape? Freeze.
Do anything that involves doing something with the brush? Freeze.
And this only happens WITH brushes, moving, looking around, etc, all fine. Please help me, making maps is unbearable. (Yes, i tried 1.4.0, and this happens all the time in that version.)
-
-
Alright, i used the wrong compile method.
Sorry for wasting your time.
-
Nope, no error messages.
-
So i am finishing my new map, but the map doesnt have lighting in it.
No darkness, no shadows,
It looks too bright.
(The black is fog)
-
When i load radiant, the message appears:
This is a version 2 project file. This build only supports <=1 project files. Please choose another project file or upgrade your version of Radiant.
Help?
Edit: I worked it out.
For those wondering, all you have to do is uninstall Radiant 1.4, remove the "scripts" folder from your base folder, and reinstall Radiant 1.4 again.
-
I try to import a .GLM file, but "File not found (No .GLA?)
heeeeelp
-
So, i have finished a (sorta) big map. It compiled nicely, but now whenever i compile that map the following error appears:
************ ERROR ************
Token too large on line 1343Its not instant, but after the shaders are loaded the compiler shows this and closes immediatly. And i did change the map too.
Help?

36 minutes ago, Circa said:
If you're taking it from MBII then you should credit all of the people they list. That means all of those people contributed to the MBII version.
Oh, thank you!
-
I am using the textures from that map in my new map and i want to ask the creator if i can.
Kotf said it was Just Immenor, while MBII Said it was the following people:
MaceMadunusus, Immenor, GoodOlBen, Lervish, Teelos, Frost, Sxx, McBober, Pahricida, LivingDeadJedi.
Do i ask all of them or just Immenor?
Thanks.
