Flynn, you are a man after my own heart, i often feel exactly the same way!

Anyway, this poor chap was probably not expecting some philosophical discussion on his status update page, so lets not go over the top!

...A good example being violent protests or riots, wild parties or just generally groups of people acting daft or getting into fights.

The human race as a whole shows incredible stupidity in many regards, but when you get people alone, you often find that more than likely they are reasonable and that they are another person with hopes and fears and desires just like you!

If you have ever observed a group of teenagers acting stupid you will know what i mean. You can see that the larger the group of people, the less intelligence each individual shows. Even though, when alone, a person may be quite normal and reasonable, in a group people dump their own reasoning for the reasoning of the group. Thats why people in groups get into stupid or dangerous situations, where if they were alone they might think, 'no this isnt a good idea'. A good example being...

Individuals can be great when you get to know them, but the human race as a whole is so full of stupidity that i sometimes wish i weren't human!
