The Ravensoft master server was online today briefly. Their new system appears to be running on Microsoft Azure, so you can expect it to be a lot more stable and scalable when they've finished implementing it properly

Is the master server just for JA and JK2?

I think Raven's master server is for all of their id Tech 3-based games, aka JK2, JK3, SoF2, and ST:V-EF. (I could be wrong about those other games)
