HEV_tux

I love this game (jedi outcast/jedi academy) to the ends of the earth and back and have for 15 years now, but the slow moving blaster bolts just frustrate me. Is there any mod/way this can be edited to make the a good bit faster? So it's possible to hit a moving target? I tried going through the gamedata files with a .txt editor but I didn't find anything related to "projectile speed". Only firing speed and damage etc. Any and all help is appreciated thank you.
