I did, and it's pretty good. Not perfect, but still amazing what it can get out of photos. I even upscaled some textures. Unfortunately, Jedi Academy crashed whenever I tried to test the upscaled textures.

Yes. Check your file size after you upscaled it in Gigapixel. Must be a multiple of 2.
