The map has been in progress for several years and been passed down from one mapper to the next. We've gone over like three transitions and it is a map for a clan. I am trying my best to finish it despite not being as skilled as the prior workers. One of them who has made most of it is still around but not as active. We still speak over our clan forums. I was the one who added the last rooms to the map... It kinda sounds like you think im stealing something here but I assure you that is not the case. The creator didnt bother/know about making stuff Detail, or it happens when you copy paste rooms from one file to another (I don't know if it does really) Any chance you could take a look at it for me?

Hello good people I'm new here, pls excuse me if I write this in the wrong section or anything :S So.. A mate of mine and me were starting a map project together back in... 2008? I had a very long break from everything and now that I am back, he finds less and less time for it (yes, its still been going on xD). So I kinda said I will finish it for him... I re-learned alot, altho I have never been as good as he is.. All the rooms are there, lying safely in seperate files, some were already added, so there is more or less a version with most of the rooms and areas. After adding some rooms I encountered tons of problems when i tried to testrun it, I will list some of the worst: - 3 fps... Turns out everything is structural (GTK says 30k primitives...) and after looking a bit into how areaportal and hint works my head aches - Textures were really messed up after adding the rooms - There are some scripts involved, they didnt work at all :/ It is a very ambitious project and seeing how much work he put into all this... It deserves to be finished. If there's someone here who would be willing to help me, I would cry tears of joy >.< I found the tutorials on this site and find them very helpful, I will of course read it thoroughtly so I don't ask too many unnecessary questions ^^ Also, I would prefer to do this private as I didn't ask my mate to publish anything yet..
