I know nothing about modding. But if you can make new gamemodes, can I suggest something like a counterstrike setup? A ffa or tffa where you only get one life, then you are placed in spectator until everyone on your or the other team dies. Our clan hosts an event like this once a week with a ffa where you join spec when you die until there is only one player left, then restart, and its a lot of fun. Way better than a normal ffa. It would be awesome to do it more often with random players on our server without having to explain/police the rules everytime someone new joins; it makes it impractical. The new emotes and entity spawning and gui and admin powers and all that are awesome, but I think new gamemmodes would do a lot to make the game more interesting.
