Animated shaders assistance

[Guest Redemption]

Hi, you may of seen in my menu alterations to Jedi Outcast,  a menu where when you select a button, an image pops up - The Sith Holocron one. I would like the Sith apparition image to be animated so that it moves from an initial position to the desired position; that being at the peak of the holocron.

I've tried before with an ill desired effect. I followed the flame shader function, but didn't work. Maybe a script config file could work?

 

Could anybody lend a helping hand?
