::Goals::

 

RPG Peril is one of the leading roleplay communities within Jedi Academy itself, boasting a good roster of active members and multiple storylines con-currently making headway. We are not a clan and do not treat the members as such, opting to be a full community that you can jump in and be welcomed at any time and do not care if you have previous history with clans that are currently active. We want to be the best roleplaying experience on Jedi Academy and be a fun, inclusive, and serious group that handles storylines, drama, and whatever else with maturity and understanding. At the moment the roster's pool, while active, is still small and a wider range of personalities and characters would be a boon to any future arcs or storylines.

 

::Rules::

 

The rules are simplistic, and are obvious to the roleplaying community as a whole.

1. Do not lame or attack without permission.

2. No Metagaming/Godmodding

3. Rule of 5 deaths for main characters to be perma'd, 2-3 for non-mains.

4. No flaming

 

The rules are easy to follow and still subjective to flexibilty at any given time, as we recognize we're all humans and will make mistakes from time to time.

 

::Recruitment::

 

We are looking for people who can fill a very loose criteria.

 

1. Active players, either casual or hardcore roleplayers.

2. People who enjoy Jedi/Sith roleplay in the context of our universe, to fill out roster depth.

3. Chill, relaxed, somewhat outgoing people who enjoy Star Wars Roleplaying.

 

All still can join, even if they're unable to be on for most the time, as activity is just 'are they roleplaying coherently and semi-normally' We would enjoy having whoever is interested or whoever is disappointed with the current roleplay they are seeking in Jedi Academy. I was merely addressing the implication that we are another two-week community, as has been the case for many communities advertised in this section.

 

To address your criticisms, zetaboards is a versatile website that has been used historically within the JKA community, and has proven to be reliable and effective, (and, of course, free.) The boards effectively serve their purpose and have provided more than what is necessary for a JKRP community.
 

28 members in just over two months is quite a high number in the failing Jedi Academy community, and they are not just numbers, but active members. Several members are almost always online at any given time and willing to roleplay, and numbers on the server have been higher than I've seen on any server in recent months with the exception of the long-lived ::JEDI:: community. 

 

Our staff is devoted to providing a fair and friendly roleplaying environment, and has so far successfully created a thriving and growing community with active members from diverse backgrounds while providing an environment for rich roleplaying experiences on a daily basis.  We're a tight-knit and friendly community, and I encourage you to check out the community and engage with them in a friendly manner.

Many events have occurred in Peril's plot as the galaxy has taken form, and with the end of a semester of school and release of a new movie activity had returned in force. You do not need to register to view the lore or rules on the forums, and I encourage anyone perusing Jkhub to come check us out and join in on the role play.
