Acrond Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 Do you thinks its possible to create JKA server with a RasberryPI? And with a mod like MBII? Maybe a RaspberryPi of 512MB has the stats to run it, I dont know if there is more things to consider.
mrwonko Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 With a little work it's possible to make it work in vanilla, but for mods you need the cooperation of the creators - the Pi is ARM, right? That needs to be specifically compiled for that architecture then. Acrond likes this
Raz0r Posted May 11, 2014 Posted May 11, 2014 I plan on working on an rpi port one of these days. It's certainly possible, especially for servers (where I don't have to worry about porting the renderer and making it GLES compatible.
Acrond Posted May 12, 2014 Author Posted May 12, 2014 Nice! I essentially want it for MBII mod, I dont want to waste about 70€ for nothing . More opinions?
Xycaleth Posted May 12, 2014 Posted May 12, 2014 You will need the MB2 team to make an rpi port as well though. Raz0r can only do the server program porting. Acrond likes this
Acrond Posted May 12, 2014 Author Posted May 12, 2014 Ok, so we can die waiting for that, they not even update their mod
