movie duels II mod

Hello
i really hope this forum isnt dead and someonw can help..
running into some very strange animation glitches and i am hoping
someone can help me stop them. the mod runs ok in game but the cutscenes
are all messed up for example off the top of my head..

in the first phantom menace mission qui gon just continuously walks into the door instead of plunging his saber into it.

duel of the fates when maul first appears he does some weird half
frozen back flip instead of just staring at them. and does it again when
supposed to jump backwards onto platform. when obi wan is knocked down
off platform instead of hanging he is standing in mid air beneath
platform and then again when maul knocks him down reactor pit he stands
there in mid air and maul just stands there when he should be swinging
his saber at the floor making sparks.

geonosis arena mace just stands there but the sound and glow from saber appears in front of jango fett.

there are many others but you get the idea..

i know its not the mod itself because i have seen youtube vids of
the game missions playing and cutscenes playing flawlessly..so i am
wondering did i get a bad version or wrong version # how can i get it to
run smoothly. i am playing it on the steam version on windows 7 64 bit.
.. the main jedi academy game and other mods and outcast and all run
flawlessly but for some reason movie duels II is giving me these weird
animation glitches.

is there a patch or a fix for this?? i havent seen any updated for the game since 09 and dont see any help forums for it
anywhere online..

someone please help who has knowledge in this mod.

thank you

Run it via launch settings, not by the mod menu.
I can't recall what the Movieduels folder is called in Gamedata. I'm assuming it's called MD2 (based on what I remember). Replace MD2 with whatever the Movieduels II folder in Gamedata is called, if necessary.

In Steam, go to Jedi Academy (SP). Right click on it in your library and select properties. On the General Tab (opened by default), go to "Set Launch Options...". Type the following:
"set fs_game MD2"

Launch the game via Steam. Should now boot up with a Movieduels II splash screen and animations should be fixed.

Just remove those settings from the launch options. I think you can do a desktop shortcut as well perhaps, and remove the launch options in the Target field. I don't have a Steam version of the game so I can't tell you specifically how to alleviate that issue.
