How to make a staff saber character switch to single style?

Every dual or staff saber wielder rarely switches to single style called ManualDeactivation.

But there are two exceptions.

First, case of this problem.

Second, when I used force grip on a staff saber character and throw him by using push, he flew away and fell to the ground. And then he quickly woke up with lightsaber throw! I automatically blocked it.

And he retrieved his saber. But his style was not staff. It was medium style called ManualDeactivation!!

 

But after few seconds, he finally switched to staff style.

 

Anyway, are there other ways to make dual or staff saber characters switch to single style?
