I come from the Golden era of JKA, I've been playing the Jedi Knight series since release, when I was a toddler I played dark forces. Trust me when I say the servers today, do not have the balance the servers did 10-14 years ago. In the old days, there was enough people in the game to balance the game (really) so that yellow didn't have OP, which it was for a while. Today playing pure red is almost unpunished. Downplaying this is just, it's honestly just being obnoxious, and it's honestly not helpful so. Please, we're a small community, and we dont need the cancer. Honestly, let's have a civil, nice and friendly conversation where we are all, in a state of altruistic reciprocity.

I remember fixing the animation problem by adding something in the model_default I used to modify A LOT of skins back in the day. I competed with RinkXing-Dinx

Yes, that I remember. What I don't remember is what to change to make the model compatible with JKA and JK2 in vice versa

Alright, that fixes the crash. Now this is a bug:

Hi! I'm not sure if this is right, but I placed the OpenJK PK3 in the JA+ mod, as it said it worked better with OPENJK & I have the exe running and all good on that front. Having the OpenJK PK3 fixed the duplicate bug that was there without it. But, whenever I go in game and click the change lightsaber button, the game autocrashes. I removed all mods, it still happens. What have I done wrong?

What this would need would be publicity. Preferrably from a popular twitch streamer, either through hosting/shoutouts/advertising. The games resolution would also need to updates to 4k. And the balance of the game in terms of damage from red/yellow/blue would need to be balanced. In the old days, there were some servers who had the perfect numbers. Now they don't.

Hey guys, i'm new here. So I figured an introduction + a question belonged in the general discussion category. I remember in the past, I transferred JKA models to JK2, or maybe it was only the other way around. I seem to remember changing something in the model_default script, but I can't seem to find it. Am I just going blind of old age, or was it something else? Thanks all
