  4. Hello Guys and thx in advance in case anyone is checking this out! <3 Im very very new in this skinning community i just finished my first skin ever! I will find out over tutorials and formus how to open a saberstaff in blender hopefully but i still didnt.. I will need support with a lot of things in this project as i really dont know where to even start looking or how to ask the correct questions.. I really hope u guys can help me to finish this project :DD Logical questions: If one side of the saberstaff gets switched off in battle does it "reshape" itself in the "staff one side turned on" model in an animation? Or how would it work in my case, because i would have to make a new hilt obviously, similar to the laser-spear i posted above... but then when i turn off one side i dont just want the one end of the staff to turn off the saberblade, but make it change into a Kylo ren crossguard saber (also like posted above) also with the slight difference that it has a smaller daggerish blade on the bottom of the hilt so that all ends end in a blade so to say (i hope you can imagine what i mean... xDD) So practically if i would allready have the finished model off the crosssaberstaff working in game, when i then have the staff turned on and switch off one side, it should look like as if the center of the cross is rejecting towards the hilt while the blades on the side of the cross get shorter until they reach the lengh of the kylo ren saber.. The main blade (the middle blade of the cross, the only blade doing damage of course) would become longer as the center off the cross rejects itself towards the center of the hilt now becoming the Kylo ren saber.. For the other end of the staff it would also have to reject itself towards the hilt until it would no longer be the other side of the staff with a blade at the end, but now the complete kylo ren saber with the slight difference that the small blade at the end would still be there but smaller than in the beginning... On the opposite it would do the same thing in reverse obviously.. it would eject the "staffhilt" again and would adjust the lengh of the saberblades back to the model it was. If u read through all of this really really thank you! I hope my explenations are somewhat imaginable.. If u could tell me where to start it would help me a lot! As i said i use blender and i know now a little bit about making 3d models and texturing them... but i guess i will have to make animations for this?   5. Hey Ramikad! Thx for the fast reply!! )) Yeah what you said seems to be the problem. I sent the .blend to a friend of mine in the clan and he said about the same. The problem is that i made a hell of a mess with the seams.. Especially around the eyes the UV did first not work so i selected all the single faces particually the "eyelids" and were u would add a Kajal lol xD And it ended up as 40 or so little triangles, i put them all together in one spot on the UV map and just painted over them and it looked fine on the model. The friend i sent it to said he split the shit out of the model but still couldnt get it to work.. He said it should work tho he cant find whats the problem! If you could take a look at my model? I send it to you over email if you want including the textures! Im really at the end of my knowledge! xD Everything i find on google about this topic opens up ten new questions for me..xD With regards you smirre

I was spending the last Month getting into blender a bit, It was very hard work but i finished a Player skin that lookes like Papa Emeritus the lead singer of Ghost! xD I Took the body of a Tusken and the head of luke and made some changes to the face and the head.. Point is i cant export it over some seam issues i think.. an i cant find anything on google nor on any of the tutorials that i watched,,, If anyone could pleeease help me finishing up that last step i would be so happy!!!! <3 I asked allready in game but no one was able to fix it (only one tried xD..)   7. Hey Guys! Im very bery new to the whole modding community, but i allready like it so much! I just got into blender and i wanna make player and weapon skins with it! I just finished my first skin but i cant export it!! I cant figure out what it is! Its completey finsihed with textures, drawn in Paint!! I tried in game to ask for help but only one could help me and he sayd its a minor problem, it should work but he cant fix it, I was really hoping one of you guys would know how to fix this!! ) I will gladly send everyone that wants to try the .blend file with textures.. and obviously i will upload the skin for free dlownload, once it works!
