Hi there I'm currently editing my animation.cfg, and have changed some of the stances. One thing that's always bothered me though, is the way our character runs with the lightsaber when it's turned on. I've tried various mods with different variations of the running animation, but unfortunately none that fit what I'm after. My current most used lightsaber stance pretty much looks like this: http://cdn.arstechnica.net/2011/10/20/t7_5_-4ea0820-intro.png So I figured if it would be possible for my character to run with the lightsaber up like that as well would be great. Only it seems to be a bit more difficult than I imagined. After a bit testing of various attacks though, I noticed that the last few frames of the vertical slash with Medium style while running, puts the lightsaber down by the hip, holding both hands, so I figured that if I could use this animation that would be perfect. Problem is though, that I have absolutely no idea what the different lightsaber attacks are called in the animation.cfg, and I have a feeling that they're the ones called stuff like "BOTH_LK_S_DL_S_B_1_L". So if anyone could help me with narrowing down what line I need to edit, or anything, I would be grateful! Also, in my search for different running animations, I stumbled across this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nddxRdyOeyo Which I actually also like very much, at least for an alternative, but there's no download link of course. (I know this running animation is pretty similair to the one in the Clone Wars Stance mod, but I just think the head tilts a bit too much for my liking unfornately) EDIT: Forgot to mention, if anyone knows if it's possible to change the weapon stance of the various blasters, similair to the one when exiting Zoom mode using the Disruptor rifle, where it actually seems like they're aiming. (Figured it out)

That's what I thought I tried to do it myself back then, but my lack of skills was insufficient unfortunately. One could also re-texture the skin, for the colors to be more appropriate, but I think I'll give that a go my self, despite I have no knowledge in the field, haha. That is, of course if it will be a reality -

Cool, that's a nice model, I'd very much like that, thank you! I'm still interested in my own request though, as I really like the design with the cape and such (http://srj-art.deviantart.com/art/Obi-Wan-Kenobi-in-Clone-Armor-124807913). But in case DarthDementous won't find the time, or it'll take a long time for the other one to be done, it would be awesome to have your model Jeff! -

If this topic is still active, I'd like to request General Kenobi, from my old thread: http://jkhub.org/topic/4424-model-request-general-kenobiskywalker-clone-wars/ -
Need help on completing frankensteining model
Kiaiko replied to Kiaiko's topic in Modding Assistance
@@mrwonko, I don't want to be a larger pain in the ***, than I have already been, but do you think that you perhaps would be able to help me frankenstein this other model, from my topic in Model Requests:http://jkhub.org/topic/4424-model-request-general-kenobiskywalker-clone-wars/ I gave up on this model, since it sounded like it was too big a problem that the Mercenary Kyle model was from JK2, and the other one JK3. I would really appreciate it, if you can assist me in any way. -
Model Request - General Kenobi/Skywalker (Clone Wars)
Kiaiko replied to Kiaiko's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
@Ëkvas, I'm sure your busy with all sorts of things, but you have already been mentioned in this thread once, and seeing your frankenstein projects, we know you are capable, and good at frankensteining. If, and when, you have the time, would it then be possible to talk you into to frankensteining either Obi-Wan - AotC (http://jkhub.org/files/file/1558-obi-wan-kenobi-attack-of-the-clones/) or Obi-Wan - RotS (http://jkhub.org/files/file/1121-hs-obi-wan-kenobi-rots/) head, onto Clone Commander Kellers (http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Clone_Commander_Keller;89251) body? I'm sure I'm not the only one interested in this kind of skin, and imo it would be great to have a battle ready Jedi. Hope to hear back from you. -
Model Request - General Kenobi/Skywalker (Clone Wars)
Kiaiko replied to Kiaiko's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
Yeah, that was also what I realized, I found these two models that would be absolutely perfect for the job. I edited it in my original post, but I'll just copy it here as well After trying to find some models that looks like Obi-Wan from that series, I found this model of Clone Commander Keller, which almost has the excact same body, armor and cape as Obi-Wan: http://jediknight3.f...er_Keller;89251 After finding this reskin of Haplash Anakin, that looks like Obi-Wan from Episode II (http://jkhub.org/fil...-of-the-clones/), I thought that if someone would be able to frankenstein the head of Obi-Wan onto the body of Commander Keller, then it would be perfect. So if anyone is able to do this, I would be very grateful! -
Model Request - General Kenobi/Skywalker (Clone Wars)
Kiaiko replied to Kiaiko's topic in Mod Requests & Suggestions
Yeah, I already have that one, and I think it's pretty good. What I had in mind was something that was a little less "jedi" like, and without the robe, so that it seems more battle oriented. To be more precise, the look Obi-Wan has in the 2003 Clone Wars cartoon, with the clone trooper armor and cape. -
Hi there I was wondering if anyone has a Clone Wars General Kenobi or Skywalker model/skin, or would be interested in making one? Seeing how there's lots of various jedi in robes and tunics, I figured it would be cool to have some in battle armor. I stumbled over this deviantart of General Kenobi, and just thought it would be great to have a model like this in game. http://srj-art.deviantart.com/art/Obi-Wan-Kenobi-in-Clone-Armor-124807913 EDIT: After trying to find some models that looks like Obi-Wan from that series, I found this model of Clone Commander Keller, which almost has the excact same body, armor and cape as Obi-Wan: http://jediknight3.filefront.com/file/Clone_Commander_Keller;89251 After finding this reskin of Haplash Anakin, that looks like Obi-Wan from Episode II (http://jkhub.org/files/file/1558-obi-wan-kenobi-attack-of-the-clones/), I thought that if someone would be able to frankenstein the head of Obi-Wan onto the body of Commander Keller, then it would be perfect. Need help on completing frankensteining model
Kiaiko replied to Kiaiko's topic in Modding Assistance
That might be true. But in order for me to use this model, I then need to understand most of the things there is to using Blender? There is no easy and fast way for a newbie to Blender like me? Just so I can move on, and start my JK3 game, instead of waiting, and hoping to be able to use this model :b -

Kiaiko replied to Kiaiko's topic in Modding Assistance
Okay, like I said, I'm new to the whole modelling thing, this is my second attempt at using Blender, so I'm probably a bit in over my head. My process with this model was that I first imported the .glm of one of Spankis jedi models (JK3), selected the head and hair, and just did a copy of that. Next I imported the .glm of Bradys Mercenary Kyle (JK2), deleted the head from that model, and pasted the jedi head. After a resizing and moving the head around, I finally got it to match the body, so that it looked natural (like the picture in my first post). Once I got that done, I exported the model as a .glm, and tried to place it in a .pk3 in order to see if the model worked, which it unfortunately didn't (problem mentioned in first post) I haven't done anything else such as moving the skeleton, or exporting as MD3, the only thing I've done, is copying the head and placing it on top of the model. Like I said, I had hoped that frankensteining, would be somewhat that "easy". So as much as I'd like to give you more detail on this matter, unfortunately I can't, since I haven't done anything else than copying and pasted the head onto another model. But I want to thank you very much for taking the time to try and help me -

Here is a link to my .blend file: http://www.speedyshare.com/4KgJm/merc-cade3.blend Also, I believe I just use the default settings. I am new to the whole modelling thing, and I thought I'd just try to give it a go, so I haven't changed anything. Seems it was a bit more complicated to do a frankenstein than I thought.
