Celzar Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 There was nothing wrong with my computer before I downloaded MB2, but, after I downloaded it, about a day after, my computer started to run extremely slowly. I couldn't use the internet, and my FPS for any game was horrific. We had to factory reset my computer. The only thing I want to do with that mod is to play the Emperor's Throne Room duel map. Any help on this issue? And if I can't fix it, would someone mind extracting the .pk3 for Emperor's Throne Room duel map from Mb2? Thanks
Futuza Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 Well where did you download it from? Sounds like you got malware disguised as MB2, or packaged inside of it. These links should be good:http://www.moddb.com/mods/movie-battles-ii/downloads/star-wars-movie-battles-ii-v132-fullhttps://community.moviebattles.org/pages/download/ Just downloading a file shouldn't slow your computer down, installing it; however, is another matter, but you didn't say you actually installed it... Because your computer seems to hate it so much, you should at least set a restore point before you attempt to get it again. Hard to really help you though without more detailed information of what you did exactly and what kind of errors happened and what OS you are using. Also you'd probably be better off getting help from the MBII guys, not jkhub. Their forums are here: https://community.moviebattles.org/forums/forum-support/

Futuza Posted January 10, 2016 Posted January 10, 2016 I downloaded it from here, on JKhubThe one here is an old build, but I doubt it was malicious. Probably a technical problem then.

Yeah, I even downloaded the build he commented on to check it out. There is nothing in it that could cause that. My only guess could be that something is wrong with his drivers (specifically opengl) that is causing that.
