In the days following my departure from the Jedi Order, Padme was kind to offer me a place to sleep in her apartment, but I quickly realised that I couldn't depend on her kindness forever, and that I would have to make do on my own.

The thought of accidentally meeting Anakin or one of the other Jedi Masters again unnerved me, so I sought for a place to stay where I could afford one, and for work that I could do. Which lead me to a life in Coruscant's filthy and colourful underworld, where I had spent the longest and perhaps most challenging training period of my life.

Nothing on the battlefield could prepare me for what I was to face here, among the common dirt and rubble, in the dark alleys beneath a glorious and vast city.
