Xarav Matoa
Greetings JKHub! I present to you the reforming (DAJ) clan. We're an active JA+ RP clan hosting members from all around the world with a new flow of hopefuls coming in! We've been around for many years and have had our ups and downs, but with the election of a new Council things have been progressing very well(For those that have been around in the past). Our RP style accommodates both serious role-players, and hybrid(lite) role-players(FFAers open to role-play); we try and make things fun for everyone to keep a big and resilient community together. You don't have to be a writer in order to have fun or be accepted around the server either. We've also got a group of Skinners, a Modeler, a handful of student mappers and some talented writers. Joining the clan! All new applicants generally start off a new character with a bit of background information and how their character came to find the clan's temple. Their behavior and ability to get along with the rest of the clan and community is then judged, and if approved, they will be initiated into (DAJ). From there on the new member will begin developing their character through daily interactions(Sparring, learning about the Star Wars universe((and our own timeline)), going on different kinds of missions, and forming a master-padawan pair. Essentially, this stage is just the training step in which you become habituated to our systems, clan, and style of role-play. After the Padawan stage, you may reach the rank of Jedi Knight and teach your own student as well as host missions and take part in the story on your own, if you wish. The StoriesA small group of people essentially direct the stories. They assign "missions" to Jedi Knights to take part in and direct them in-game.The Jedi Knights may take student members along and from there, they may role-play the mission out. Character deaths are not uncommon, I feel like I should add this here as they're a relatively fun aspect of stories. These stories drive the "time-line". Basically, the main events that go on in the galaxy and how the clan might be involved in it. We like to try and write them to be immersive as possible in order to catch peoples attention, and their feelings towards it. You never know what kind of psychological-horror you might find in the galaxy :-). Our timelines are written by our writers, and driven by our members. We create our own and can shape our galaxy both in character and out of character. Non Clan MembersUnfortunately, we can't have everyone , so, accommodations are made for those who like the clan, the community, or the environment and want to hang around. In the past, we've allowed members of other clans role-play or just generally take part as themselves(or represent their order). The main requirement is that you try and well, "star-warsify" yourself, meaning, not talking about football in the role-play chat for example :-P. DiplomacyAs stated earlier, we have had a change in leadership. Our clan used to maintain a closed-doors policy and never really took part outside of its server however, with the decline of the JA community we will be considering some changes in regards to this field. Our forums are located hereand our server IP is: 23.81.66.19:11511Jedi Council GCX 2010 - Skyboxes I suppose that sums it up for now! Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I'll be checking back to answer any questions should any come up Nuhallis and Vartex like this Link to comment
Broc Wytho
So, I can be a non-clan member and still play? I hate having to be in a clan just to roleplay. Link to comment
