It's a HD replacer of the lightsaber. Although it is based on the original model it's not 100% copy of it in the terms design. When I viewed light saber meshes in Noesis I saw, that all of them except this had two versions, LOD 0 and LOD 1. Only Reborn's weapon had LOD 0 only. And that mesh had the same level of details which other LOD 1s had. There were no such details like buttons, for example. Maybe there had been a proper LOD 0 mesh for the weapon, but it had been cut of the game for the sake of optimization I thought. So I decided to fix it and made my own version of the original as it might had been before, and here it is.
Installation:
Copy saber_reborn.pk3 or saber_reborn_1024.pk3 into GameData/base folder. saber_reborn.pk3 is a version with 512*512 texture resolution and it's enough for my opinion. But if you want a reeaaallly HD version you can install a version with 1024*1024 texture resolution 🙂
Uninstallation:
Remove saber_reborn.pk3 or saber_reborn_1024.pk3 from GameData/base folder.
