Text does not show up when i launch the game.

Hello, Was there ever a resolution to this no text issue? I just installed the mod today and I'm experiencing the same problem. I downloaded/installed the original game via Steam.I downloaded the KOTF Launcher/Updater.I extracted and ran the KOTF Updater as per the readme file included in the zip file.Any help or guidance would be appreciated - thank you!
