495 ABY

The Fall had wreaped terrible wounds onto the galaxy when all of the ships either in orbit or deep space were crashed down onto all planets, wiping out trillions and when the survivors came from cowering out of the ashes. They then were forced to face a nightmare, an army of droids working day and night which began to wage a war to bring about the extinction of the biological beings. The Jedi Temple was then attacked from within, more of the droids coming online and catching the Jedi by surprise. While the Jedi were able to overcome the attack, even with depleted numbers as their Knights went to wage war on Kuat, the distraction lasted long enough for a blockade to form overhead. A few of their numbers made it out, but the rest remain trapped until a mission was launched by Jedi Knight Sasha Vendark in an attempt to break the blockade.

Sasha and a handful of Republic soldiers would cause as much chaos as they could amongst the droid ships, giving the remaining Jedi who were led by Jedi Knight Tia Luminara & Captain Jenkins an opportunity to escape undetected during the ensuing chaos between the droid fleet. The ever-trusting wookiee monarchs opened the border for the Sith Empire and the Republic to gather on their soil and the five representatives would form an alliance based on the simple goal they all had in common: survival. While everyone in that meeting walked out with the sovereignty of their factions intact, alliances were pledged but Darth Necriss would conspire against them through secrecy...

 

What many of the Jedi and Republic personel did not foresee, was the deception and malicous intent of Darth Necriss, who manipulated the minds of many of the younger Jedi, one such as Jedi Knight Riley Shriek into carrying out her bidding. Darth Necriss would set off a chain of events which would lead to the complete destruction of the Wookiee planet of Kashyyyk, the ultimate downpour of the Gungan City beneath the depths of Naboo's oceans and the disappearance of Jedi Master Wakindu. Riley was coered by Necriss and deluded into believing that she would bring about the downfall of the Sith. But Necriss would order Derec O'mali to execute Riley and use her sacrifice in an attempt to turn the young and inexperienced Rachel Valor, Grand Master of the Jedi Order to the dark side in a confrontation on the desolate ice planet of Rekkiad. 

The trap on Rekkiad would conclude that Rachel Valor would embrace the dark side and strike down her allies, ending the life of Anarhan Keliath, an attempt to kill Jedi Knight Tia Luminara and plunging the Jedi Order into divided chaos. Jedi Knight Sasha Vendark of the Jedi Order had uncovered a droid archivist who had been dwelling within the underground crystal caves on Ilum. Sasha and her soldiers were given refuge and a time to discuss the politics of the droid uprising and discuss the morals of why it had happened. But the droids viewing the beings of the galaxy as sub level intelligence, offered the Jedi Knight an offer of sanctuary. Sasha has since vanished from the Jedi, despite previously being rescued by Tia Luminara, plotting a course back to deep space where the mysteries of Ilum would continue to haunt her.

 

Many of the confused survivors were killed outright but a small number were kept alive and taken as prisoners. They found themselves confined to the labour camps which were manufactured by the droids to subjugate the survivors. The people's champions rose up, those particularly under the leadership of the legendary Captain of the Lady Forlorn, Zip Gengar. Together, Zip and his crew would give aid to those survivors, inspire rebellion and smash the metal oppressors into junk. The underworld would work with the Jedi as it had been obvious their survival depended on it. Heroes such as Kara Starflare & Catherine Keliath would assist the crew of the Lady Forlorn in some of their missions. Though the droids had the numbers, the rebels would formulate a plan that would put together an effective fight back.

With Chancellor Armitage Median declared dead, Hector Eladio, a controversial figure within the elite class of the Republic began mingling with military personal, senate officials and started to use his influence to manoeuvre himself into the position of office of the Supreme Chancellor of the Galactic Republic, or what was left of it. Despite their loses and devastation, Eladio would drive the droids out of the coreworlds and begin to launching a counter effort of their own. The Republic forces had been battered and thanks to intervention from the Chiss Ascendancy, they were able to gather a fighting force capable enough to confront what remains of the droid hordes. The final confrontation with the droids is at hand and it is a fight for the very survival of the biological preservation forces.
