Console

The console is an in-game command prompt window that is accessible in both the single and multiplayer versions of Jedi Academy and Jedi Outcast.

Purpose in JA

The console is used for the execution of in-game commands such as cheats, graphic settings, display settings and on-line reception settings, without the need of going into the Settings section of the game menu. It is also be used to bind certain commands and options to a key. The console also allows players to create custom cfg files (which are used to save custom settings that were made by the user). These files are saved in either the base folder of the the game's directory, or in the primary mod folder (for instance, japlus for JA+)
