A clan is a group or guild within a gaming community who play together or connect to a singular goal or similar ideals about how a game is played.

Clan's in JKA

Clans in JKA are fairly common, and usually have an abundance of differences. JKA clans are usually one of the following:

Social

Clans such as these tend to focus on the social element of the game, preferring a gaming environment where players can hang out, chat, and duel. Examples are JP, DJE, JAWA, oFc and AoF. Such clans tend to favour mods such as JA+ or Clanmod over Base for their administration features.

Competitive

Clans such as these focus on playing matches against each-other or other clans. An example being WoV, aXiom, Ozone, Master, Jedi Academy Aurochs or most recently GoD. These clans tend to use Base over modded versions of the game for its pure and unchanged damage system.

Hybrids

Clans such as these integrate both competition and social elements into their clan to suit all comers, examples being EK, JvS, and The Polaris. Such clans ocasionally run multiple servers for matches and for casual play.
