Sith Council Version 2 is a map created by Nick Aikenhead aka Kahn who has created many other maps for Jedi Academy. It was released in March 3rd 2005, a year after the original version. Sith Council is one of the most popular fanmade maps in Jedi Academy.

Layout

It is a reasonably sized map with many areas for players to explore such as a main lobby which connects many rooms, a courtyard with a waterfall, river and a drop off and a secret sith courtroom behind a rock wall. Three different rooms for dueling, a Medical room, classroom, bar, cafeteria, elevator/lift, and apartment rooms. Each of apartment rooms has beds and tables for Role Playing. The map also has a basement featuring a council Room, jail cell, and another training room by pillars. Finally, no sith map is complete without a tomb to the Lords, in this case the creator, Kahn himself.

Secrets

The most memorable aspect of the map is its many secret areas. Most of these are easy to find and get to, whilst others are harder to find.

The Hidden Jedi Camp

- From the main hall, go to the large door farthest from the stairway

- Exit the temple by walking through those doors until you reach the outside.

- Scale the waterfall to your left until you reach the stone at the edge.

- Swim to the farthest right pipe with bars and saber the bottom half until it is broken.

- Crouch and follow the pipeline until you find the Jedi Hideout.


Underground Maze #1 (To the Secret Tomb #1)

- There are two ways to reach the underground maze:

  • Path #1:

- From the outside jungle region, face the main door into the temple and move to the left. Keep your cursor at default level.

- There will be a section of the wall that sticks out from the rest, and lets you use force push. Using push will open a path.

- At the end of the path, hit the use key and you will be at the maze.

  • Path #2

- From the main hall, go to the Darth Bar (to the right below the stairs).

- Enter the Darth Bar through the counter and go towards the alcohol storage.

- Crouch down and hit the Use key until a section of the wall opens up, crawl through and walk down the stairs. You are now in the maze.

  • Maze to the Tomb

- From the beginning of the maze (where you see the multiple paths)

- Take the second path (if farthest left is 1), cross the RIGHT gap. (Left will kill you)

- Start to saber the left wall repeatedly (you'll know if you're hitting the wall correctly.)

- Eventually it will break, follow the pink light and activate the button. Cross the platform trap, open the door.

- Push the flags to the left and right (K and N) for the tombs to reveal.


Underground Maze #2 (To the "Blow-Up-The-Main-Hall button" / Secret Tomb #2)

- From the Main Hall, enter the stairway main door and go to the basement.

- Upon exiting the elevator to the basement, move to the exact opposite side of the room. (would be 180 degrees turned)

- You should be facing the pillar room.

- Back up to the wall and walk backwards until you reach the corner to your right.

- Point your cursor about halfway between the wall you're against and the wall infront of you (at the floor)

- Hit the Use key. Run to your right into the council room and roll. You're inside the maze.

- At the bottom of the stairs, do the following:

- Left, Left, Right. Do not take another turn.

- You should be looking at another Y junction. If you think of where you are as a literal Y. Go to the end of the Y vertical stem

- Crouch and turn to your right and hit the use Key. The wall should open, now enter the gap in the wall. You're at the button to blow up the room.

  • To the Tomb from the 2nd maze

- Return to the start of the maze.

- Take a right, then a left. Walk through the wall, push the flag to reveal the tomb.

Dorm Room Secrets

Control room

- From the main hall, walk directly forward to the large door at the top of the stairs.

- Take a right turn into the dorm rooms, continue to walk straight until you reach the elevator.

- Go up the elevator and repeat until you reach the end of the dorms, and cannot go up another level.

- At the end of the corridor take the door to the right. There should be a PC with the Simpsons on the monitor.

- Take note of the white box next to the bed.

- Now crouch under the PC desk, facing the direction the door you entered in.

- Hit Use (R by default) and quickly turn right, and jump into the white box that is now opened.

- You are now going to be in a room with many doors.

- If the door to the left is Door 1, and the door on the left is Door 5; enter this sequence of doors:

- 2, 5, 5, 4, 2

- You will arrive at the control room overlooking the main hall.


Teleporting station

- Return to the room with the Simpsons PC at the top of the Dorm level and to the far right.

- Instead of crouching under the PC desk, crouch at the TV, hit the Use key and move into it.

- You'll be at a teleportation room that sends you to the Cafeteria, Maze under Darth Bar, Medical Room and Duel Room #2.


Hidden bedroom

- Go to any of the rooms on the top floor of the Dorm section (except the bathroom).

- Crouch along the edge of the beds and spam the use key until the bed lowers. You are now in a secret room with beer and Futurama.
