Reborn are a group of enemies Jedi Outcast as well as in Jedi Academy. The Reborn refers to most Dark Side Force users, following orders from Desann and later Tavion. They have no other names.
Appearances
In JO
Reborn warriors are part of the army, Dark Jedi Desann creates to fight the Jedi and the New Republic forces. They are believed to be infused with the force, as it was revealed in the experiments with Artusian crystals on Kejim. However after Desann assumably orders his apprentice Tavion to kill Jan Ors, Kyle, defeated by the fallen Jedi flies to Ruusan to regain his own Jedi powers. The villains then follow the same coordinates to give such powers to dozens if not hundreds individuals, which would become known as the Reborn.
The first such warrior is encountered by Kyle in the lower levels of Cloud City. While he is easily defeated by Katarn, many more await him in the upper levels, as well as in the Imperial installation in the Leniko belt. A lot of Reborn and shadowtroopers would also be part of the occupation force on Yavin IV later on.
After the defeat of Desann, a few Reborn would still remain. One such warrior would be captured by the Jedi on Yavin IV, but his ultimate fate is unknown.
In JA
With the outbreak of the crisis with the Disciples of Ragnos the Jedi would learn, that the group would be accepting New Reborn into their ranks. Some of the older Reborn would also assist Tavion
