A range ban is a different form of ban, which the players IP range (that is the number which specifies the players region code) is banned, therefore disallowing the player to bypass it through means of dynamic IP addresses. The nature of the ban also means that anyone else that is part of the specific region that was banned will also be banned as well. Since JKA does not allow for individual range codes to be removed from one range ban, admins tend to use a range ban as a last resort for players who are extremely disrespectful towards rules.

Ban, Banned, or Banished is a term used in many games that refers to a user or player being unable to play on a server. This can be done by the server admin using the server commands. The play will no be able to return unless they either are Unbanned by the admin or the IP address they used at that time is changed.

Range Bans

A range ban is a different form of ban, which the players IP range (that is the number which specifies the players region code) is banned, therefore disallowing the player to bypass it through means of dynamic IP addresses. The nature of the ban also means that anyone else that is part of the specific region that was banned will also be banned as well. Since JKA does not allow for individual range codes to be removed from one range ban, admins tend to use a range ban as a last resort for players who are extremely disrespectful towards rules.
