Movie Duels II is version 2 of Movie Duels created by WectorX. The mod provides a full campaign of famous duels from the prequel trilogy and some "Rise of the Empire" missions, which encompass the time period between episodes III and IV. This single player mod is one of the few saga-based mods ever created for JKA and is extremely popular.

Backgound
In 2008, WectorX finished work on the first Movie Duels. This preliminary release caught the attention of the modding community, many of which had been disappointed by the lack of saga mods, and, most notably, the scam of KOTF. While the scope of Movie Duels was rather large, Movie Duels II was quite a feat to complete. With over twenty missions to create, WectorX had his work cut out for him. Plasma assisted WectorX with the daunting task of rebuilding the iconic film locations, while many modders made exclusive models or let WectorX use their content in his mod. WectorX created new effects, animations (some characters had unique saber styles), and complete cinematic events.
Official Releases
After large amounts of work, the mod was released to the ecstatic community on October 1, 2009, delivering both a PC and a MAC version. Several addons followed this release.
Missions
Movie Duels II contains a fairly extensive list of duels and missions. Here is the official list of missions:

Features
WectorX also added new menus that allowed the player to easily change his or her appearence and toggle invincibility. Also, WectorX added an extras option, allowing the player to fight against npcs and play various bonus missions. Another thing added was a challenge ladder, pitting the player's skills against that of iconic prequel characters.
Reception
Reception
The Jedi Knight community was very happy with this mod. Moddb users have rated the mod at an average of 9.3/10, and still remains one of the most popular JKA mods hosted by the site. Over 420 Moddb members tracked the mod and the mod has been downloaded more than 73,000 times (data only takes into account the full PC version of the mod hosted through Moddb). Most reviews were positive and praised the team's hard work, but many users experienced issues with getting the mod to work. Movie Duels II was also featured in an article of the German magazine Gamestar. While the mod came with a difficulty selector, many users felt that the mod was overall to difficult to complete without cheats.
