History

Order of Fairness clan logo

Order of Fairness (OoF) was created by Mangrewo (later: Stone) in the year 2007, around summer. The main intention was to try to make a good example for a JKA community and clan. In its early years, OoF existed as a hungarian community, based on friendly and helpful behavior, high activity and a unique system. Around 2009 the community's class system was reformed to a new clan system. OoF became very popular those years, in the year of 2011 it even became the most popular clan in Hungary. When the new year started, Mangrewo came up with the idea of making OoF into an international community, hence it has become acknowledged by many people from different nations since 2012.

OoF Code

Seeks and learns, never uses the knowledge for evil.

Helpful to the friendly, brave with the hostile. Always righteous and fair, despite the circumstances. Always treat everyone with fairness.

Passionate, but keeps balance between light and darkness. Knows well the journey is the point, not the goal.

Gives values to the less fortunate.

Ranking and Members

Main Ranks:

Kage:

The leaders of OoF. Together they decide on all matters that concern the community. Kage is nigh unreachable, only the outmost trusted and mature can be elected. You must either be a long standing member, or absolutely exceed in efforts for OoF's benefit.

Defenders may reach Vindicator when entrusted with responsibility. Vindicators are given tools on the server to moderate trolls and the like. Vindicators are expected to deal with any minor problem. The main requirement for Vindicator is trust and loyalty.

The core membership of OoF. They are expected to be friendly and supportive. Even though Defender generally aren't entrusted with Admin access, they are still expected uphold others to OoF's rules.

Apprentice:

Every initiate must go through a trial period of one week as an Apprentice. During this time they will be evaluated by the rest of the community. Apprentices can only be promoted to a Defender by Templars or a Kage. During this time it is important that the apprentice familiarize themselves with OoF's standards.

Sub-classes

Sub-classes exist to better customize the ranks for OoF's needs. Be it either for technical or moderation needs. Or maybe just for bragging rights.. People can have any sub-class, regardless of their rank.

Elder:

Only for members that have multiple years affiliated with OoF. Their loyalty to OoF is indisputable, and their counsel is always heeded. They are considered to have formed or helped formed OoF itself. Elders are to be respected, no matter their main rank.

This is given to certain players if they elect to make an effort to plan and execute events on the server. This can justify a player access to the server's console admin, if necessary.

Trusted with access to administrative tools either in-game, the website or Discord. Only for members that have duties and responsibilities that justify this access.

Blade:

A member that has won a tournament held and moderated by a Kage. The Blade rank is an old OoF tradition, and only a few has ever held the title.

The creator of the Order of Fairness. Stone, or formerly known as Mangrewo, created OoF back in 2007. At first it was mainly a hungarian clan, it took off internationally in 2012. OoF has changed a lot over the years, but what Stone founded it on, it still represents.
