An example of laming

General

The laming rule is one of the most common server rules in JKA but originally came from JK2. The rule is applied differently on each server due to how server administrators interperts the laming rule. Due to this discrepancy it is often wise to check the rules of the server before playing.

The Rule

Laming is attacking another person unarmed or chatting.

Controversy

Alot of people believe that the laming rule is wrong. Making JKA unique in being one of the few games with an FFA gametype in which you can not freely kill people. Others argue that the laming rule is enforced to help new people in the game and to enforce respect for other players. It could be aruged that this rule has divided the player base.

History

The laming rule was coined and used first by Shroomduck of JK2.
