| Since JA+ aims to give much more administrative control with handy tools and commands to moderate a server easier, this has led to JA+ server owners as being labeled as ''allegedly'' very strict and trigger happy with banning, sleeping, and general excessive authoritative acts. Nobody is certain when this culture became the norm, but it is almost expected as part of a JA+ server's reputation before it is even connected to. This has resulted in a great portion of players avoiding JA+ servers as a rule, due to experience of being banned or treated badly by admins in the past.

| The phenomenon known as [[laming]] is strictly enforced against on most JA+ servers, and ends up being the source of many of these excessive bans, kicks, or sleeps. Other common reasons are foul language, arguing with an admin, or even using the default "Padawan" after a certain amount of time after entering their server.
