Base or "BaseJKA" is the name given to the unaltered official release version of Jedi Academy. Any modded version of the game no longer counts as Base.
Most competitive players compete using base, due to mods such as japlus having altered the manner in which sabers deal damage, causing changes in balance between different saber types, tactics, and exploits.
