AFK

AFK is an acronym that stands for Away From Keyboard. This means a player has either walked away from their computer or are just simply temporarily taking a break from a game or chat and intend to return in the near future.

This term is not unique to Jedi Academy but in gaming in general, and has seen mainstream prominence in the modern digital age for IM chats, voice calls, and video conferencing.

In Jedi Academy this is typically correlated with the laming rule, which states that a player can not kill a player that has declared themselves AFK.
