New Beginning is a Single Player modification for Jedi Academy.
Story
The mod takes place about one year after the events of the original game (Light Side ending), with a new character learning the ways of the Force at the Jedi Praxeum on Yavin-IV.
Gameplay
There are two main maps with tasks to complete, both of which take place at the Academy of Luke Skywalker. While exploring the area, the Player has the option of meeting various characters, including Raltharan, a Jedi briefly mentioned in JA storyline among several other familiar ones. Aside from quests, the mod offers a variety of secrets and easter eggs for more attentive players.
Updates
By January 2021 MagSul released a major update of the mod, which fixed several bugs and enhanced the already existing parts of the project, as well as added a bonus level.
