The lightsaber is the signature weapon of the Jedi Knight Series. It is a a melee weapon which can be used to attack in close range, deflect most projectiles and can be thrown with the force.
There are three types of lightsabers
- Single Saber
- Staff (Also known as Two-Handed-Saber)
- Dual Sabers (Technically two single sabers, but functionally a different type of saber.
Availability
In JK2, only the single saber was available, being unlocked after the first few missions in single player. In JKA you start with a single saber with only yellow stance available. Later you unlock more stances and may switch to staff or duals sabers.
