Alora is a secondary adversary in Jedi Academy, an apprentice to Tavion Axmis.

Personality

Alora was a Lethan Twi'Lek Force User with red skin. Studying under Tavion Axmis, she became a Dark Jedi, who would assist her in several missions, including the one to Yavin IV and Hoth. Over time she would become stronger and even try to seduce Jaden Korr to the Dark Side of the Force. She was, perhaps, one of the commanding Force Users of Disciples of Ragnos, an organization created by Tavion to resurrect Marka Ragnos on Korriban.

Appearances

In Jedi Academy

Alora is first seen during the first level of JA, where she infiltrates the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV in order to get the data from Luke Skywalker's journals. A diversion takes place not far - when Tavion uses Ragnos' scepter to damage the arriving starship with new Jedi students, which is used by Alora in order to sneak into Luke's room and steal the data on the planets with strong connection to the Force.

A new prominent student Jaden Korr is later sent on a mission to Hoth, where the Disciples of Ragnos try to establish a post with the Imperial Remnant. As the Jedi makes the way into the abandoned Rebel base, it is revealed, that Alora leads the group of cultists and snow troopers. While she engages Jaden in a duel, she proves to be stronger than the Jedi and escapes the base before being caught.

Alora is seen again much later, when the crisis with the cult reaches its peak - Jaden and Kyle go on a mission to Taspir III to save Rosh Penin, who previously disappeared and later joined the cultists in their attempt to revive Marka Ragnos. Jaden hesitates whether to trust a former friend at first, but eventually turns off the lightsaber. This is the moment when Alora attacks both them, cutting off Rosh's arm in the process. Although her powers have increased since the last duel, this time Jaden proves to a much more skillful warrior.

Alternative ending (JA)

If the Player chooses the Dark Side and kills Rosh Penin, a duel with Alora still takes place on Taspir III, however with a different dialogue.

Behing the scenes

Alora is one of a few characters in JA, that actually has two skins for the SP campaign, however her alternative look isn't used in any level (but still available for Players). Also among all the NPCs she is the only one with a unique animation, when she uses Force Jump.

In JA Alora is voiced by Grey DeLisle, a actress involved in may other Star Wars projects such as KOTOR II (Brianna the Handmaiden, Lonna Vash), Clone Wars series (Shaak Ti), The Phantom Menace video game (Queen Amidala).
