Notably the model for Baruk differs from other Rodians, which is much larger (corpulent) with bright clothes full of minor details, like pockets and collars. The only other model to be as large, but still using the same ''game skeleton'', would be [[Rax Joris]] in Jedi Academy.

Reelo Baruk is a minor villain in the Nar Shaddaa mission in Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast.

Official Description

Reelo Baruk is an obese Rodian known for the powerful crime syndicate he controls on Nar Shaddaa. Most people, however, just see Reelo as the legit owner of a garbage hauling company, since he goes to such great lengths to keep his criminal activity under the radar. Reelo's gang is made up of a mix of aliens found throughout the galaxy, some of the worst scum in the known regions.

Personality

A corpulent Rodian thug, Reelo Baruk is the next lead for Kyle Katarn, who is looking for his nemesis Desann after the encounter on Artus Prime. Luke mentions, that the Remnant forces are backed up by the criminal gangs from Nar Shaddaa, and Desann might have had some dealings with them. Kyle rushes to the vertical city to find the evidence himself, with Baruk being the one, who contacted the Empire.

As he enters the cantina near the garbage collector's base on Nar Shaddaa, Kyle is greeted by two Rodian thugs, who ask him to leave all the weapons. The local barman, Baldarek seems to have some information on Baruk, but sets a trap for the Jedi upon recognizing him and alerting all the mercenaries in the cantina. After the dogfight Kyle eventually gets the answer from the barman, who would give hints how to find Reelo - by following the garbage collectors.

The garbage processing facility is well guarded by many different mercenaries, as well security systems like auto turrets and trip mines, used by Reelo in order to prevent any trespassers from finding him. The main entrance is also pass-coded and only Lando Calryssian, imprisoned by the thugs, would know the combination - "Ruby Bliel", a name for the drink, likely favored by Baruk himself. Lando himself was trying to investigate the criminal activity, which had also been spotted on his planet of Bespin.

Upon meeting the criminal, Kyle would have the cooperation between Baruk and Desann confirmed, as the thug was offered a great sum of money for his aid with the capturing the platforms in the Cloud City on Bespin. However the gangster has little patience for talk and prefers his auto turrets to deal with the Jedi. When the defenses are destroyed, Baruk escapes from his compound.

Reelo himself would find both Kyle and Lando later at the landing platform, sending many mercenaries to stop them from leaving Nar Shaddaa in Lady Luck, while he is ready to shoot down the escapees with the platform turret. This is, however, the end for Baruk and most of his minions on Nar Shaddaa, when Kyle defeats the attackers before the ship is destroyed.
