'''Survival Mod 2: Revenge Of The Droids''' is a Single Player modification for [[Jedi Academy]], although the Author initially intended the project for Jedi Outcast. It is an indirect prequel to the [[Surival Mod]] by IZaNaGI, created for Jedi Outcast. The mod includes several missions, which can be played by different characters, taking place in the Prequels era.

==Story==
Set during the the height of the Clone wars, the story follows four characters which span out over an evening on a remote planet – most likely Geonosis, where a large droid factory is based. The facility is producing a new kind of battledroids, which are capable of lightsaber combat and are even imbued with the Force.
Two characters – IZaNaGI and Immy arrive to assist an elite team of Republic Clone troopers to destroy the factory main control console to disable the droid facility until the Republic can have it dismantled. At the same time a more sinister enemy has their own plans for the factory – Asajj Ventress, a Dark Jedi and aid to the separatists, watches over the production to ensure this army of saber droids reaches General Grievous intact.
==Gameplay==
The Player is offered to explore one planet through several levels, playable with different characters of different fractions – Immy, IZaNaGI, Assaj Ventress and a Clone Trooper. Each mission is a Ladder-type map "to see how far you can get", but the ones with a Clone and Ventress are much shorter, requiring the player "to use a bit more brain power to progress".
==Features==
* Over 12 skins of some of the greatest models created for JA and JO.
* New Menu system and UI.
* New Music from the game Star Wars Bounty Hunter and KoToR.
* New SP maps.
* New textures.
* New playable characters/game modes.
* Secret Missions.
* New weapons taken from some of the best weapon packs available.
* New Shaders.
* Over 40 new NPC's none overwrite!
* Some of the best Sound sets available.
* New Voice Acting.
* Desktop Icon, for loading mod straight away.
==Behind the scenes==
As the Author stated in Readme – it took 4 months to complete the project, which included new maps, as well as new skins and characters. Several familiar models were used, such as Leela and Trade Federation Battle Droids.
The developer changed the main menu, which got "a complete face lift and re code i have added a new character selection system which isn't as advanced as say the base JA menu but it does its job and was easier to code up each characters different game modes". One section got a key code lock, that required a five digit code to unlock new areas of the menu.
The mod uses quite a collection of original Star Wars sounds, introduced with AOTC. This includes ambience, as well as weapons and voices.

Survival Mod 2: Revenge Of The Droids is a Single Player modification for Jedi Academy, although the Author initially intended the project for Jedi Outcast. It is an indirect prequel to the Surival Mod by IZaNaGI, created for Jedi Outcast. The mod includes several missions, which can be played by different characters, taking place in the Prequels era.

Story

Gameplay

The Player is offered to explore one planet through several levels, playable with different characters of different fractions – Immy, IZaNaGI, Assaj Ventress and a Clone Trooper. Each mission is a Ladder-type map "to see how far you can get", but the ones with a Clone and Ventress are much shorter, requiring the player "to use a bit more brain power to progress".

Features

  • Over 12 skins of some of the greatest models created for JA and JO.
  • New Menu system and UI.
  • New Music from the game Star Wars Bounty Hunter and KoToR.
  • New SP maps.
  • New textures.
  • New playable characters/game modes.
  • Secret Missions.
  • New weapons taken from some of the best weapon packs available.
  • New Shaders.

Behind the scenes
